The Easy Bathrooms website was setup in 2013 and currently has 6 showrooms throughout the Midlands and Yorkshire.

Having worked with Easy Bathrooms for over 2 years our initial brief was to primarily focus on SEO, but as our relationship has developed we now manage SEO, PPC and social media channels.

As a new website the client needed to establish immediate quality traffic which could be used to optimise the site and help improve conversion rates.

Our approach

As a highly competitive vertical we split the SEO campaign into three distinct phases:

  • Long-tail – product specific keywords
  • Local focused keywords
  • Generic bathroom based keywords

The long tails keywords would help drive low volumes but high converting traffic, the local based keywords would help to drive footfall to the stores but not online conversions. The final keywords would help to drive high volumes of traffic across all product categories.

As the client used a bespoke ecommerce platform we initially focused on resolving the technical issues, which were impeding SEO performance. Once these were resolved we then focused on optimising the core product and category pages to ensure optimal relevancy.

The Results

We have seen a continual improvement in the primary long-tail and local based keywords, including:easyb

  • 30% of target keywords within the top 3 position on Google UK
  • 42% of keywords are within the top 5 positions
  • 57% of keywords within the top 10 positions

Based on this performance we have been able to increase organic traffic by 175% within the 12 months and this continues to increase month on month.
